Bon Jovi VS. Guns N' Roses?

My friend was comparing Bon Jovi to Guns N' Roses, who do you like best?

While Bon Jovi was pretty much responsible for sparking the 80's aquanet hair metal frenzy, they were sort of Jersey bar-band hard(ish) rock.



Guns N' Roses were a hardcore hollywood vampire neo-punk band who just happened to have big hair.



Both bands were significant to the era, but there is really just no comparison. But it's totally ok, because there is balance in liking them both.

Definitely Gn'R, theres no way Bon Jovi can compare to them. Guns' are just a better band, even though they arent as lasting as Bon Jovi, I think that they wrote much better songs while they were still together. (No, I dont think Axl's current tours should be taken into account when talking about Guns n' Roses)

I believe that Jon Bon Jovi has more range and styles than Axel Rose. It is hard to pick a favorite, but I like variety and Bon Jovi can do that better.
