Land of Confusion; Genesis or Disturbed?

If you ask me, the Genesis version has that awesome '80s sound to it, but the Disturbed version has that FUCKlN AWESOME hard rock sound to it.

SO WHAT DO YOU PREFER?

I've got a saying; if you're going to do a cover, at least make it as good or better than the original. That pretty much does it. It's great to hear that song again like this. I'll take them both.

I liked the way they pick up the fullness of the keyboard with guitar. I remember discussions about this when Genesis was at their peak. Guitar sound has come a long way.

Being an absolute die-hard Disturbed fan I'd have to say the Disturbed version sounds better. But I still love the Genesis version as well.

The Disturbed version goes alright up until the solo, then they lose it and it turns to ****.



That said, for a heavy metal band to cover an 80's prog/pop song they did quite well. But Genesis will always be better.
