What do you listen to when your bored?

Question

Because of my boredom, I have discovered a band named "Clap Your Hands Say Yeah".
Have you heard of them before?
I actually REALLY like them!

edit - K I'm listening to the song. This is really weird. The bass is grungy, the keyboards are Indie Rock, the vocals are just bad. Lol this is a good song.



edit 2 - Glad you like it :D I'm guessing it is an accordion, yeah. If you like Indie with those instruments and influences, I'd also REALLY recommend DeVotchKa.



I just play my library when I'm bored. I usually try to listen to the albums I haven't listened to yet and if I'm caught up on all the stuff I've downloaded, I'll just listen to some favorites. A lot of the time, I'll listen to albums by bands that I wanna raise my last.fm play count on :p But I love my whole library so it's not like I'm doing something I don't wanna do for something so trivial.



BQ: I guess I do look for new bands if I'm bored and caught up on everything I've gotten since my last downloading run. A friend on last.fm recommended me this band that I'm totally in love with now. They're an Indie Folk band inspired by Balkan (Southeastern Europe) folk music and they're totally amazing.

I listen to Emilie Autumn, Origa, Blutengel, and other stuff when I'm bored. I've never heard of that band, but I listened to the song and I liked it :]



I always go explore new music when I'm bored, and new genres.



I guess I listen to modern music more, though I'm a fan of 80's goth stuff like Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, and The Smiths.



I don't have a favourite.. Which is kind of funny because Emilie Autumn was inspired partially by Hair Metal and she's my fave.



Uhm, I looked up what classifies a band as Hair Metal, and I liked that song from The Darkness (I Believe In A Thing Called Love). I really love the style and how crazy and funny it all is :]



My favourite concert was most certainly the Emilie Autumn one. Crazy theatrics, Victorian costumes on crack, circus-like performances, amazing industrialized violin and satirical-comedic songs.

If I'm out, I usually listen to The Doors or Guns N Roses. If I have access to the computer, I break out the list of bands people tell me to check out.

i like to listen to everything when im bored. lately, it's been guns n' roses, rush, and ac/dc (with bon scott as the lead singer).

BQ2: no way classics are pretty much all i listen to

BQ3: i don't know i will have to go with guns n' roses because there are a lot of hair metal bands that i love

BQ4: i also like kiss, aerosmith, and def leppard

BQ5: well ive only been to one concert so far, i wanted to go see aerosmith but my family is saving up to move out of my grandmas house so we can't really afford it. the only band i went to see in concert is green day. i know they are not the best but i used to love them, before they became all mainstream and their music started sucking

I usually listen to my favorite comedy albums when I'm bored, Patton Oswalt, Louis C.K, Jim Gaffigan, it gives me a laugh and makes me forget I was bored :P

i finally started to fully check some bands out and really fell in love with 4 bands!

my favorite one has to be Cave by Mumford and Sons!! it's just amazing the lyrics are great!
