Husker Du all the way. I like REM, but this isnt even close. I much prefer Husker Du's style and Zen Arcade is a punk classic.

REM by miles. Don't get me wrong I like Husker Du but they aren't in the same league as REM, always found them a bit too self indulgent.

I never really got too deep into REM, but I could eventually. I used to listen to Out of Time and Automatic For the People on a weekly basis.
