Question:
Is meeting 30 Seconds to Mars and more worth $350?

Basically, they are coming to a venue 5 minutes away from my campus. I found out that there is a VIP package thing called the "Ultimate Onstage Fan Package" which includes:
* A choice of an Ultimate Onstage Fan package (with side of stage access for a few songs,) or an Ultimate Fan package
* Meet & Greet & photo op with Thirty Seconds to Mars band members
* A general admission standing floor ticket, with priority access*
* Pre-show party
* Exclusive Thirty Seconds to Mars gift bag
* Crowd-free merchandise shopping
* Hassle-free entrance to venue
* Ultimate commemorative laminate
* On-site ILAA host
* Parking
The other option would be to pay $250 and not get to sit beside the stage, or just pay the $25 admission fee and not get any of the extra stuff.

NOTE: 30STM is my favorite band, literally. This is the only time I will ever spend this much money on a concert. So try to imagine yourself going to your favorite artist's or band's concert and you can pay an extra $300 to get all that extra stuff (meet the band/artist, get pictures, autographs, etc.)

I want to know if you think it is worth it? Would meeting 30STM be kind of a let down or are they awesome? Would meeting Jared Leto be a let down? PLEASE! Someone tell me. If I am going to do this, I want to purchase them next week, so respond quickly. And trust me, your opinions count on the matter.

I am seeing them again in September. I bought the tickets, then my sister surprised me by upgrading us to the 'Meet & Greet' supreme package. I saw 30STM in April, and wanted to do the 'Meet & Greet' so badly, but couldn't and still can't afford it. If it hadn't been for my sister, I wouldn't be able to. BUT, if I could have afforded it, I would do it, again & again.

You see, there is something very important to learn here, something I had to learn the hard way:

It is NOT the things that we DO in life that we usually regret; it is the things that we DON'T do, that we end up regretting.

In the last few years, I have been having a LOT of health problems (Fibroid Myalgia, Lyme, etc) and at one point they thought I might have cancer. All of a sudden, you point your life into a different direction, re-priortize. I've always appreciated life, but now I'm trying to enjoy it (in a safe way, nothing crazy) even more.

SO, if you have the money, I say "Do it". Somebody above said, don't do it because the band won't remember you. Well, this is probably true, because they are human, not just because they are famous. I think if any one of us met THOUSANDS a people a day on an average, we would not remember each of them. Besides, yah, it would be great if they remembered you; but, isn't it your memories that count? Isn't this something that you will remember for the rest of your life? You'll constantly look back on that moment and go "I met 30STM." The band (Jared was WICKED sick) was nice enough to stay after the show, for those who didn't have 'Meet & Greet', to sign autographs. And even though there were no photos, I will never forget how grateful I was that they stuck around to do something like that for the fans. They were so sick , they had to postpone the show after ours. I thought it was so generous of them. I CANNOT wait to meet them and personally thank them for all they do for their fans and how much I appreciate their music.

Once again, I say go for it. And make sure you take it all in, because the night will FLY by. It will take forever for the concert to come (or at least it seems like it), but then it will all be over in a blink. Give your self the experience; we all deserve a moment like that.

For them being your favorite band, I say go for. When will you get to go to a pre-show party, sit on stage for some of the song, meet the band an get a buch of stuff. How often to chances like those come around. If you have the money to do it, then why not?

When I used to like 30stm I met shannon and Jared. If there weren't so many people ,I would have talked to them. Jared forgot something in a different state so he was in a rush, when I met shannon my camera wouldnt go off so then he got a sharpie and signed my shirt for me. Then on om my friends got a camera and I got a pic with him. He seems nice.

I don't personally know 30STM, but if it was to meet my favourite band, and I had the finances, I would definitely do it, I mean it's a once in a lifetime event, but it's all up to what you want in the end :)
¡Aja!

No. Chances are they won't even remember you. Bands are always grateful to meet fans, but they only remember the ridiculous ones.

Sadly, I had this experience today. Paid fifteen bucks for a concert, had riveting conversation with the band member. Six months later, I see them on the sidewalk, say hi and they look at me like I'm crazy.
